If anyone hasn't watched Agents of SHIELD, fhe last 4 or 5 episodes of season 1 tie directly in to the events of this movie and HYDRA's big reveal throughout SHIELD. Phenomenal season ending (also the whole show is fantastic, I thought most of season 1 was pretty mediocre but I'm glad I stuck with it because it really does just get better as it goes on. People should watch it)

Heartbreaking, but genuinely well put together scene. I started experiencing panic attacks for the first time in my life this year and hoo boy what a horrible thing to experience. Makes me realize that Tony isn't so certain he's having a heart attack or being poisoned because of his hubris or because he couldn't comprehend the idea of being a nervous wreck, but because that shit feels so very much like you're about to die. Uncertain of the exactly physiology but the best way I can describe the feeling is that your brain is sending signals to your entire body that you are GOING to die RIGHT NOW. Makes it feel like your throat is about to close (even though it isnt') or your heart is about to stop (even though it isnt). Craziest part is that for me, at least, I don't even have to be stressed out. Could just be sitting there minding my own business then boom time to go into fight or flight. Mind you, I discovered it was greatly aggravated by energy drinks, but there was once it happened without caffeine. But yea, all very appropriate that Tony is kinda just chilling in a diner then starts freaking out and is convinced he's about to die. I feel yea, my man.

I experienced a panic attack at home last year. I genuinely thought I was dying but came around after a few minutes. Over the following days I had a few more mini attacks at work. I went to the doctor soon after and they referred me to the hospital worried I had a cardiac issue but wrote in the report they suspected a panic attack. The hospital confirmed it. Looking back, it makes complete sense. I was working a very stressful job at the time and was losing sleep over it too. Wasn't looking after my body either. No wonder it happened. I quit that job to take time to look after myself and have been stress free with no panic attacks since. So yeah, look after yourself people. It matters.
